Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Find Success

Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Immanuel Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gryphons walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gryphons.

Brody Frank made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Philip Long was a standout: he fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ethan Tiede was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Trinity Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Trinity Christian's record is now 9-5. As for Immanuel Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will take on Quantico at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Immanuel Christian, they will face off against Front Royal HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
