Baseball Recap: Greenville Christian Takes a Loss

Greenville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-2 to the Manchester Academy Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Thursday.

Greenville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Manchester Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Greenville Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Manchester Academy will face off against rival St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
