Soccer Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural vs. Northeast Lauderdale

The Itawamba Agricultural Indians will square off against the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Itawamba Agricultural has eight straight wins, Northeast Lauderdale has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Last Monday, Itawamba Agricultural got the win against South Pontotoc by a conclusive 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won ten matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northeast Lauderdale fell victim to Enterprise and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-0.

Itawamba Agricultural pushed their record up to 15-8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
