Baseball Recap: Lebanon Warriors vs. Crescent Valley Raiders
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Lebanon and Crescent Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Trenton Lewis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Lebanon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Enright, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Crescent Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.
