Basketball Recap: Hibriten Panthers vs. Freedom Patriots
Hibriten was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through an 88-54 loss at the hands of the Freedom Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 82-44 loss back in January.
Leading Freedom to victory were King Johnson and Kobe Johnson. King went 8-for-12 to rack up 17 points and seven assists, while Kobe went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points. Kobe is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaden Davis, who posted nine points.
Hibriten's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season.
Hibriten does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freedom, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-68 win against South Caldwell on the 18th.
