Baseball Recap: Thatcher Eagles vs. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions
Thatcher had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it six. They fell just short of the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 11-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.
Thatcher saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erik Ebert, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Dylan Rynie also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coming up, Thatcher will face off against Blue Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.93 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Walden Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Wolves have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
