Football Recap: Crisp County Falls to Sumter County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Crisp County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 23-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sumter County Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Although Crisp County took the loss, they still got scores from Deshaun Fedd and Zion Mabry.

Even if they lost, Crisp County's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Jordan Fox was especially locked on to Sumter County's QB and sacked him twice. Fox is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season.

Coming up, Crisp County will square off against Lovett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sumter County, they will face off against Griffin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
