Basketball Game Preview: Middlesex Chargers vs. Lancaster Red Devils

Middlesex hasn't had much luck against Lancaster recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Middlesex Chargers will be playing at home against the Lancaster Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Middlesex comes in on eight and Lancaster on three.

Middlesex is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They really took it to Chincoteague for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-37 win. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lancaster was able to grind out a solid victory over Northampton on Monday, taking the game 55-42.

Middlesex pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
