Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Oak Grove needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Gavin Rino. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hill Falcons on Monday with plenty of help from Rino, who had 12 digs and two assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Oak Grove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 6-21. As for Hill, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Oak Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hill, they will welcome Prospect at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
