Arizona College Prep is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Desert Mountain a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Arizona College Prep Knights will host the Desert Mountain Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Arizona College Prep will be strutting in after a win while Desert Mountain will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Arizona College Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Campo Verde, but they still walked away with a 47-43 victory.

Meanwhile, Desert Mountain ended up a good deal behind Mountain Pointe on Tuesday and lost 59-45. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Pride are ranked 33rd).

Arizona College Prep's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Desert Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.
