After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nogales, Pomona was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Azusa Aztecs 47-7. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chris Carrillo threw for 30 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Destin Tilman was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Pomona's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Azusa, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
