Baseball Recap: Tivy Find Success

Tivy was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out the Channelview Falcons 3-2.

Tivy got a great performance from Gavin Whelan as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Tivy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Conner Bloomer, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Bloomer has posted since back in March of 2024.

The win got Tivy back to even at 1-1. As for Channelview, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Tivy has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Cinco Ranch on the 20th. As for Channelview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Seven Lakes on the 21st.
