Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Leelee Fernandez stepped things up a notch to give Battle Ground Academy the 'W'. Fernandez scored two runs while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Fernandez and Battle Ground Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't beaten the Bulldogs recently, having gone 0-8 since April of 2021.
