Recap: Red River Bulldogs vs. Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers
The Red River Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jonesboro-Hodge. Red River was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jonesboro-Hodge apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Jonesboro-Hodge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Bradford, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyya Davis, who scored 11 points.
Red River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Red River will head out on the road to face off against North DeSoto at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against LaSalle at 5:30 p.m.
