Huffman's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Clay-Chalkville Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Huffman have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Clay-Chalkville, too.

Cristel Turcios and Genesis Ocegueda scored both of Huffman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Huffman's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Clay-Chalkville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Huffman will face off against Hueytown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clay-Chalkville, they will take on Pinson Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
