Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Roscoe

There's no place like home for Roscoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Bangs Dragons by a score of 62-53 on Tuesday. The Plowboys have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

When it comes to explaining why Bangs lost, don't look at Braxton Wommack. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. Those 26 points gave Wommack a new career-high. Ryan Alqorum was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Roscoe pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Bangs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

Roscoe will venture away from home to square off against Ballinger at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Ballinger will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Roscoe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bangs, they will welcome Colorado at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
