Football Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland fell victim to Monroe City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 68-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Panthers are ranked 79th).

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Monroe City, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
