Volleyball Recap: Conifer's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Conifer unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Denver East Angels by a score of 3-2.

Sage Bishop paced Conifer's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bishop got some help from Hayden Buscher and her 39 assists. Keira Tracy controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Conifer's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Denver East, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coincidentally, Conifer and Denver East will both be playing Heritage the next time they take the court. The Lobos will head out to face the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Angels will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
