Soccer Game Preview: Leadership vs. Hayward

Leadership will head out on the road to take on the Hayward Farmers at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leadership's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Leadership is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Impact Academy of Arts & Technology last Thursday. Leadership and Impact Academy of Arts & Technology finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Hayward played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They put the hurt on San Lorenzo with a sharp 13-0 victory. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hayward yet this season.

The win got Hayward back to even at 3-3. Leadership's draw makes their record 3-0-1 this season.

Leadership couldn't quite get it done against Hayward in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can Leadership avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
