Basketball Recap: Umpire Comes Up Short

Umpire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were dealt a 74-39 defeat at the hands of the Mineral Springs Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 66-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Umpire's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Mineral Springs, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Umpire and Mineral Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 10:54 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Mineral Springs, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
