Recap: Macon County Bulldogs vs. Dooly County Bobcats
The Macon County Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season. They really took it to Dooly County for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-21 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Macon County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Macon County's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Cochran, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Cochran's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Towanna Cochran was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Macon County's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Dooly County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Macon County will take on Colquitt County in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Colquitt County's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Macon County's offense will have their work cut out for Macon County. As for Dooly County, they will head out on the road to face off against Turner County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
