Kaitlyn Courtney was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Courtney was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, Alexa Gleichenhaus was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ariana Phillips, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.
Olympic Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was E Lipp, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. A Johnston also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Olympic Heights has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .569. However, it's not like Dr. Joaquin Garcia struggles in that department as they've averaged .441. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Olympic Heights might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Dr. Joaquin Garcia when the teams last played back in February. Can Olympic Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
