Basketball Recap: Rossville Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Rossville won against Frontier on Tuesday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Rossville Hornets came out on top against the Frontier Falcons by a score of 48-37. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Falcons are ranked 383rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rossville is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Frontier, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Rossville has already played their next contest, a 59-43 loss against Clinton Central on the 24th. As for Frontier, they will take on Clinton Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Prairie will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Frontier surely won't give up without a fight.
