The Wake Forest Cougars will take on the Willow Spring Storm on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Wake Forest is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They put the hurt on Corinth Holders with a sharp  7-1 victory. The  win was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on seven straight.

 Jil Livengood spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Wake Forest secured the  victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was  Abbey Lauer, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
Jordan typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday Willow Spring proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Falcons 13-7. The  win was familiar territory for the Storm, who have now won three  contests in a row.
Willow Spring also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Savannah Callis gave up five earned  (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Betzy Garcia-Molina was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Georgia Miller was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Willow Spring  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  matches.
 Wake Forest pushed their record up to 19-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Willow Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
 Tuesday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Wake Forest hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .323. However, it's not like Willow Spring struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
