Basketball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 78-48 defeat at the hands of the Christ School Greenies on Sunday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Elks have suffered since December 16, 2025.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Christ School, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Centerville will take on Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ School, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Varsity Opponent at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
