Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Arlington

If Arlington was riding high off their 3-0 takedown of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Concordia Mustangs on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-7, 25-16.

Concordia's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyse Moulton, who had 26 assists, seven digs, and two solo blocks. The team also got some help from Breckynn Snyder, who had 13 kills and eight digs.

Arlington has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's taken a bite out of their 11-19 record this season. Concordia (33-2) has been on a roll lately: they've now won 32 of their last 33 contests.

Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Concordia, they will host Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
