Baseball Recap: Bellevue Takes a Loss

Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-6 to the Central Bearcats.

Bellevue saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LJ Pierman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That run was Pierman's first of the season. Another was Nathan Payne, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

While Bellevue had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
