Cooper City is 4-0 against Pompano Beach since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Cooper City Cowboys will head out to take on the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pompano Beach will have to contend with a Cooper City squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since the second. Cooper City came up short against Fort Lauderdale on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Flying L's are ranked 162nd).

Meanwhile, Pompano Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Stoneman Douglas an easy 4-1 victory. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Golden Tornadoes couldn't quite close it out.

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Cooper City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2.
