Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central lost to Hudsonville on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars lost 20-3 to the Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Hudsonville, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Catholic Central will take on Forest Hills Central at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Hudsonville, they will square off against Rockford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.1, the Rams 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
