Basketball Recap: Okemah Beats Sequoyah for Their 19th Straight Victory

Okemah put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Sequoyah Indians by a score of 69-62. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Okemah's win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Sequoyah, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Okemah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-21 victory against Seminole on the 31st. Sequoyah has also already played their next matchup, a 47-37 win against Keys on the 31st.
