Volleyball Recap: Togiak Takes a Loss

Togiak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Manokotak Lynx, falling 3-0. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lynx earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Togiak took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.

Togiak's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Manokotak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Togiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manokotak, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Chief Ivan Blunka on the 14th.
