Royal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Connell didn't have quite enough to beat Cashmere on Friday and fell 13-12. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Royal pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Connell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
