Soccer Recap: Cocke County Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Cocke County was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of the South-Doyle Cherokees by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Cocke County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while South-Doyle are ranked 30th).

Cocke County moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for South-Doyle, they pushed their record up to 8-1-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
