Baseball Recap: East Central HomeSchool Comes Up Short

East Central HomeSchool came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Southern Christian, falling 9-3. East Central HomeSchool has struggled against Southern Christian recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Jack Taylor was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

East Central HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Southern Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Southern Christian will square off against Wiregrass at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Central HomeSchool will be paying especially close attention to Southern Christian's game: after Southern Christian faces off against Wiregrass, they'll take on East Central HomeSchool again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
