Baseball Recap: Elder Comes Up Short

Elder suffered their closest loss since April 2nd on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders by a score of 9-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Fighting Crusaders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Elder now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Archbishop Moeller, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2-1.

While Elder had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
