Baseball Game Preview: Butler County Bears vs. Trinity Raiders

Butler County has gone 9-1 against Trinity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Trinity took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Butler County, who comes in off a win.

Butler County's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over John Hardin. Considering the Bears have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to Grayson County.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Butler County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Butler County took their win against Trinity when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
