Baseball Game Preview: Maxwell Panthers vs. Hamilton Braves

For the second straight game, Maxwell will face off against Hamilton. The Panthers will host the Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maxwell is on a four-game streak of home wins, Hamilton a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Maxwell and Hamilton meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Braves. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Yahir Alcaraz was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Luka Benedet, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Hamilton moved to 15-9 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Maxwell, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.
