Basketball Recap: Aztec Takes a Loss

Aztec suffered their biggest loss since January 7th on Saturday. They were beaten by the Kirtland Central Broncos 65-28. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

This is the second loss in a row for Aztec and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Kirtland Central, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aztec will square off against Gallup at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kirtland Central, they will challenge Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
