Softball Recap: Richard Winn Academy Triumphs

Richard Winn Academy extended their postseason success on Friday against Jefferson Davis Academy. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 7-2.

The team relied heavily on Langley Thompson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Meghan Guzzi, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory got Richard Winn Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Richard Winn Academy nor Jefferson Davis Academy have any future games scheduled.
