Softball Recap: Millsap Takes a Loss

Millsap came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Early Longhorns, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-13 on March 5th.

Millsap has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8-1 record this season. Early pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Millsap will face off against Dublin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Millsap is facing Dublin at the right time seeing as Dublin is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Early, they will venture away from home to take on Peaster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peaster will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Early surely won't give up without a fight.
