Baseball Recap: Washington's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Washington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Hillsboro Indians get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That's two games straight that the Blue Lions have won by exactly three runs.

Not much got past Will Miller, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Hillsboro off the board. Miller has become a key player for Washington: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 4-6 otherwise.
