Baseball Game Preview: Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix vs. Largo Packers

The Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix will head out on the road to challenge the Largo Packers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Largo will arrive with eight straight wins.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate lost 13-3 to Indian Rocks Christian on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Phoenix have lost by exactly ten runs.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Perez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave Perez a new career-high. DJ Valley also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
