Softball Recap: Sardis Beats Douglas for Their Third Straight Win

Sardis entered their tilt with Douglas on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-1. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sardis' win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sardis is set to square off against their familiar foe Crossville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Douglas will challenge rival the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.9, Sardis 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
