Football Recap: Phillips Falls Short of Westinghouse in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Phillips can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Westinghouse Warriors. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Westinghouse, their record is now 7-5.

When Phillips and Westinghouse next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Wildcats will try to stop Perspectives Leadership/Technology's nine-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westinghouse will square off against Chicago Hope Academy and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
