Holliday not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 1st. Everything went their way against the City View Mustangs as Holliday made off with a 14-4 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Steele Skinner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Kason Poston also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
Holliday was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.
Holliday is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-2 record this season.
