North Greene had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Unaka Rangers with a sharp 14-3 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 13-0 victory last Tuesday.

North Greene's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Unaka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
