Fairmont Prep had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 77-39 win over the Western Christian Fighting Lancers. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Western Christian still got an impressive performance from Brian Wallace, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 19 points. That was a full 48.7% of Western Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Cole Burdette was another key player, putting up five points.

Fairmont Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Western Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-17.
