They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the North Hopkins Panthers. Seven seems to be a good number for Tom Bean as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For North Hopkins' part, Daylee Fite was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Fite has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Fite was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

In other batting news, Hadlee Hrabal led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a double. Morgan Burnett was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
