Bayside is a perfect 6-0 against Brevard HEAT since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will host the Firehawks at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bayside is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They lost 12-1 to Melbourne Central Catholic. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bayside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Welte, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Brevard HEAT fell victim to St. Edward's and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 11-0. The Firehawks have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Brevard HEAT's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Bayside, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Everything went Bayside's way against Brevard HEAT in their previous meeting back in February, as Bayside made off with a 15-1 victory. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Firehawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
