Football Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

Trenton extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They were beaten by the Tioga Bulldogs 72-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

As for Tioga, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Trenton: they've now won five in a row.

Greeley McAden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 481 yards and eight TDs while completing 92% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Another receiver making a difference was Jaxson Hurst, who picked up 144 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trenton will take on rival Alvord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tioga is set to face off against their familiar foe Tom Bean at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,097 yards in their previous games.
